The 2015 CSA season is gearing up! Read on for more details on how to sign up today!

RED H FARM CONTRACT 2015

The 2015 season will begin in late May and will run for 20 weeks, taking us through mid October, with the option of a 5-week extension in the Fall.

In 2015 we are growing, among other things:

Over 30 varieties of heirloom tomatoes and cherry tomatoes, summer squash in green, yellow and white, cucumbers (Japanese, Persian, Armenian and English) green beans (and yellow and purple….), watermelon, musk melon, golden and red beets, radishes, kale, chard, spicy mustard, fennel, green (and purple) bunching onions, bulbing onions, lettuce and salad mixes, carrots, radicchio, pumpkins and winter squash, broccoli, purple and white cauliflower, cabbage, spinach, herbs and more!

Red H Farm is somewhat unique in its CSA program. In an effort to make our products accessible to everyone, our CSA is offered on a sliding scale. The cost to sign up for the 20-week season ranges from $440 – $600, coming to $22-$30 per week.  Members are responsible for deciding how much they can afford to spend. In other words, you choose what you pay! Customers who can and do pay the maximum make this program possible.  All customers commit to signing up for the whole 20-week season.

Customers pick up their share at one of two locations:

1.) The Permaculture Skills Center, 2185 Hwy 116 South, Sebastopol, CA 95472

2.) 2437 Lomitas Avenue, Santa Rosa CA 95404 (farm-member residence)

Preferable payment plans include:

1) Paying in full at the start of the season or

2) Paying the first half  at the start of the season and the second half by week 8 of deliveries.

We realize that this can be challenging. We have flexibility for those who would like to spread their payments out and make several smaller installments. Whatever payment plan you decide upon, you are required to commit to the full season.

Signing up for a CSA program usually brings great bounty throughout the season, and a closer relationship with the people growing your food. We have had great success and many happy customers in the past. It is important to remember that by purchasing a share you are making an investment in our small farm and, along with the potential for a great return, you are also sharing with us some of the risks of agriculture.  Extreme drought, unrelenting heat, and early frosts are things that we have no control over, and can effect the size and variety of your vegetable box throughout the season.
